My suggestion: Drive to the library, get out and sit in the bag chair in the parking lot. It may possibly be cold so throw that fleece blanket around your shoulders. Cold or not, use sunscreen to protect against the Utah sun. Since you mention no pads of paper or notebooks, grab your coupon binder and on the back of it or on some blank spot of it, grab a pen out of the pack of pens and while sitting in the chair (because your car is not as comfortable), write some kind of clever, pathetic, yet believable excuse why you have all those overdue books in your car. Use a file folder to put a copy of the excuse in your important papers at home as it is good to keep records of your financial troubles, ie. the $90 in coins that you will spend to pay for the books when they laugh at your excuse. Be sure to have a stranger in the parking lot use your camera to photojournal this part of your day so that you can scrapbook this.
